Preparation & Foundation
The pre-ToT phase prepares participants for the main Training of Trainers program. It can introduce the relevant domain, job role, learning expectations and foundational concepts required before entering the ToT phase.
Core Trainer Training & Assessment
The central ToT phase focuses on developing trainer competencies, including training delivery, platform skills, domain-related competencies, learner engagement, assessment and other applicable trainer requirements.
Practice, Support & Trainer Development
The post-ToT phase provides continued support and development after the core ToT program, helping participants apply their learning, strengthen trainer competencies and prepare for effective training delivery.
To become a Certified Trainer, candidates must successfully clear both the applicable domain and platform assessments. MESC states that a minimum score of 80% in both assessments is required for certification.

MESC states that trainers need to register through the Skill India Portal.
Raise a training request according to the applicable SSC Training Calendar.
Provide educational, identity and relevant experience documents.
The training request is approved based on the applicable eligibility criteria.
Complete the applicable training and assessments.
